Bowl of Heaven Story
While attending BYU Hawaii, Brandon Beazer fell madly in love with two things: Crystal McCormick and açaí bowls! He married Crystal in 2006, and since then they have been blessed with two beautiful baby daughters. And as for the açaí bowls, with the help of his father-in-law, Dan McCormick, Brandon turned his passion for the delicious and highly nutritious bowls into a successful and thriving business.
Brandon graduated from BYU Hawaii with degrees in Pre-Professional Biology and Biochemistry in December 2008. At that time he had already been accepted to medical school, with plans to begin the following May. However, after spending time with Crystal’s family, Brandon realized he wanted more out of life than financial rewards alone. He also wanted the time freedom for family life and service that his father-in-law enjoyed as a result of his success in the NuSkin business. So, with great determination to succeed, Brandon joined the McCormick family business and deferred his medical schooling. Eventually Brandon chose NuSkin over medical school, confident that his hard work would bring him both the financial rewards and time freedom he desired.
A highly successful entrepreneur who achieved his first million dollars before the age of 22, Dan McCormick has a clear mission: To inspire individuals to align their lives with purpose, responsibility, vision, and principles of greatness. This vision along with his passion for helping others achieve success has enabled him to build several multi-million dollar businesses. He is currently a top earner at NuSkin Enterprises, with tens of thousands of distributors in his business.
During one of Dan’s visits to Hawaii, Brandon and Crystal introduced him to the amazing açaí bowls they had become obsessed with at a local stand. Wishing they could enjoy the same delicious exotic fruit bowls in California, it wasn’t long before Brandon and Dan found themselves drawing up business plans—on a paper napkin, of all things—for the original Bowl of Heaven. A few years later their dreams became reality as they opened their first Bowl of Heaven in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. With Dan’s unique business background and Brandon’s vision of the açaí bowl market potential, together they were destined to become a winning team!
